I am so excited, I just booked J. and I's flight to HHI. I found a great price on airfare via Delta right onto the island (Note: Only 2 airlines fly onto the island, Delta and USAirways). Total travel time.... 4 hrs 15 minutes, including the layover in Atlanta. One great thing about HHI airport is it is so small. 
Literally, we will get off the plane, grab our bags, go out the door, and get into my brother's car. He won't even have to turn off the car. It's super easy. So rather than driving and losing 24 hrs or so in travel time, we only lose about 12 hrs.
Thank you Dewitt for approving my PTO! I will be taking the camera and laptop and blogging "live" the entire time I am there. So, it's really more like a Learn & Play field trip, right?
